Staff should not remain online and idle at all times--they should idle out just like normal people. This is doubly important for staff, as typing +staff shows connected staffers even when they have been gone for hours. This is annoying at best.

Wizards are the only ones who can do that. Probably they can set themselves up to go dark after a certain amount of time.

On Duty / Off Duty flags perhaps if idle-out is unacceptable?

Dark does not work. There seems to be a bug on DH2, atleast in the case of viewing Gulp - He'll be set dark and perhaps quite idle, but he shows up as connected when you type +staff.
Same thing used to always happen when viewing Draven on DH1. Not sure why.
